When someone you love is in hospital, you want to be near them, and you need somewhere quiet to go at the end of the day. Kyalami Creek is about 4 km from Netcare Waterfall City Hospital: furnished apartments with your own kitchen, a washer/dryer and daily housekeeping, in a quiet, gated complex.

We don’t offer transport. E-hailing services come to the gate and to the hospital, and the Gautrain runs from OR Tambo to Midrand station, changing at Marlboro.
Your car stays in secure parking inside the complex. A second car goes in a visitor bay. The bays are on the small side, so let us know if you’re bringing a bakkie or a large vehicle.
Arriving
Arrive any time after 14:00.
Check-in is from 14:00, and you can arrive any time after that, even late at night. Send us your arrival time on WhatsApp so we know when to expect you. Security is at the gate day and night.
Have your ID or passport and your access code ready at the gate, and your licence if you’re driving. Your apartment will be ready, with a welcome basket waiting.
Booking for tonight? We take same-night bookings, online or on WhatsApp (082 774 6198), until 19:00.
Your apartment
Cook, rest, and do the washing.
Hospital days are long. It helps to come back to a proper meal and clean clothes.
- A full kitchen: fridge, four-plate hob and oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and a coffee machine. Salt and pepper, tea, coffee and dish soap are supplied. The Mall of Africa, with shops and places to eat, is about 7 minutes away.
- A washer/dryer with washing powder, and an iron and ironing board.
- Cleaned every day, so that’s one less thing. Hang the Do Not Disturb sign if you need to sleep.
- Solar backup power and backup water, so the lights stay on and you can charge your phone during outages.
- Your own Wi-Fi and TV, and a pool with creek views if you need half an hour outside.
Room for everyone
Two bedrooms, two bathrooms.
Our Two-Bedroom Apartment is 82 m², with two bathrooms and a king bed in each room (each can be made up as two single beds). It sleeps four. Rates are per apartment, so children don’t cost extra, and baby cots are available on request.
On your own? The One-Bedroom Apartment sleeps two, with a full kitchen, a bath and a shower, and your own patio.

Over the festive season
Stay 5 nights or more between 12 December 2026 and 3 January 2027 (check out by 4 January) for R1,295 a night in a One-Bedroom Apartment, or R1,950 in a Two-Bedroom, booked direct: online, on WhatsApp or by email.

Arrive between 11 and 31 January 2027 and stay 7 nights or more for one flat rate for the whole stay: R1,195 a night for a One-Bedroom Apartment, R1,950 for a Two-Bedroom, booked direct: online, on WhatsApp or by email.

If plans change
Staying longer or leaving early.
Hospital plans change, and we know it. If you need more nights, ask us on WhatsApp and we’ll keep your apartment if it’s free.
If the patient goes home sooner than planned and you want to leave early, tell us as soon as you can. We refund the nights we are able to re-let.
Our cancellation terms for direct bookings: cancel 7 days or more before you arrive and we refund you in full. Cancellations closer to your arrival, and no-shows, are not refunded; if we’re able to re-let your apartment for those nights, we’ll refund you for them. If you can’t come because the person the booking is for has died or been admitted to hospital, there is no charge. Bookings made on Booking.com or another site follow that site’s terms.

Can I check in late at night?

Do you offer transport to the hospital?
No, we don’t arrange transport. E-hailing services pick up at our gate.
What if I have to cancel?
If you can’t come because the person the booking is for has died or been admitted to hospital, there is no charge on a direct booking. Otherwise, cancel 7 days or more before you arrive for a full refund.
Can I stay longer if I need to?
Yes, if the apartment is free. Ask us on WhatsApp as early as you can. Stays of 28 nights or more have a lower rate. See longer stays.
